Joining the Library

University of West London students are automatically members of the library. You do not need to fill out any forms. Your Unique ID card allows you to use the facilities and to borrow books, videos/DVDs, or audio visual material, etc. from any of the University of West London libraries.

Accessing online resources

Once you've enrolled you can access a wide range of electronic resources the library provides to support your learning. The login you need is called your Library e-Direct login. This is the same login you use for your University of West London email account and PC login.
Staff access to e-resources.

Your Library account

You can log into the Library catalogue to check your own library record, renew your loans and place reservations.
You will need to log in using your borrow number and your PIN number - check this via Issue Desks.

You must check your University email account for emails about overdues etc - more information.

Online tutorials

If you cannot attend an induction or training session, there are a number of online tutorials which take you through some of the services the library can offer and the skills you will need to get the most out of the libraries.
