- long opening hours, including weekends and vacations;
- provision is made for staff/students with special needs in all Library buildings;

schemes allow students/staff access to other Universities.
Resources:
- over 270, 000 items in stock;
- subscriptions to over 100 online electronic information services;
- subscriptions to over 1300 print journal titles and many more online.
- an online Catalogue that allows you to renew your loans or reserve items.
Help & Guidance:
- printed guides for each Library and guides to information sources in each subject;
- advice is offered by professional staff to answer all your library and enquiries;
- staff provide training sessions on locating and using resources;
- online help is also provided.
Borrowing material:
- users with full borrowing rights can have up to TEN items on loan at any one time
- self-issue machines are available when the issue desks are busy or closed;
- a 24-hour telephone renewal service is available;
- materials not held at University of West London can usually be borrowed from external sources on request.
